Mission
apiro was founded to supply high-quality diagnostic products for assessing whole-blood coagulation. We are committed to reliable, long-term partnerships with our users, suppliers and distribution partners. Quality, innovation and cost-effectiveness are assured, enabling optimal management of bleeding and thrombotic events.
Location
apiro is located in the metropolitan area of Budapest, Hungary – in the heart of Europe. Hungary is a leading centre for high-quality engineering and manufacturing, including the electronics and automotive industries as well as healthcare. Internationally successful diagnostic manufacturers such as 77 Elektronika and Diatron are based in Budapest, and Hungary is home to more than 300 biotech SMEs and startups. Herbert is an anesthesiologist with extensive and prolific experience in coagulation management. He is an author of more than 100 publications and book chapters including international and national guidelines. Herbert supports apiro in the field of clinical development.

Michael is a specialist in internal medicine and haemostasis and has served as general secretary for the Society for Thrombosis and Haemostasis Research (GTH) and chairman of the Instand proficiency testing organization. He has authored more than 300 publications and book chapters including national and international standards and guidelines. Michael supports apiro in the field of risk management and general aspects of diagnostics and haemostasis.
